Photos, photos, and more photos! We just can’t get enough! Probably our favorite type of pictures are pre-wedding photos strategically taken so you don’t see your soon to be spouse. These pictures are captured prior to the ceremony and are for couples who choose to follow the tradition of not seeing each other before the bride takes her steps down the aisle These are so special because they show such raw emotions. You can really see the excitement, the anxiousness, and the love for one another in these photos.
This photo by Infused Studios is gorgeous. It is a beautiful portrayal of the couples final individual moments alone as they look forward to their time together forever.
The next photo captured by Gina Leigh Photography is self explanatory. So magical and sincere.

Recently we talked about mint green well now we are talking about one of the darkest of the green shades, which just happens to be Pantone’s 2013 color of the year: Emerald!
We’re starting to see this bold color everywhere: in fashion on the runway, red carpet, and street wear, as well as in home décor, makeup and of course let’s not forget weddings.
Emerald is definitely a daring color because it is such a rich hue but there’s no need to be afraid of going green. Check out these great ways below to include emerald in your big day. We’ll show you “It CAN be easy being green!”
Kera and David were overjoyed to be having their wedding at the historic and magical Angel Orensanz Center, the oldest surviving synagogue building in New York City. This place truly glows with history and tradition. It’s interior structure resembles the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and has a sanctuary designed to look like the Sistine Chapel. The couple just loved that the synagogue linked their Jewish heritage while providing a place to start their future. Angel Orensanz housed both the couple’s ceremony and the reception where gorgeous deep reds, sultry purples and the soft glow of the candle lite created a romantic ambiance throughout the night. After a touching ceremony the rocking reception blew the night away, filled with delicious food, dancing, live rock n’ roll and a light show! If this wedding is any kind of prediction of this vibrant couple’s marriage we know it will be filled with a ton of love and lots of fun.
Flowers trimmed the chuppah completing the beautiful canopy.
Enza from Diana Gould ltd. designed breathtaking floral arrangements to frame the aisle.
The candles below designed by the creative bride and groom served as unique table seatings for guests. It was simply magical to see all the candles together and then to watch them slowly make their way around the room and glow throughout the reception.
The lights completed the entire look of the reception. From elegant to lively they changed all night long to reflect the mood of each moment.
We wish Kera and David a lifetime of happiness!

Yesterday we avoided the roaring blizzard by drifting off to a beautiful vision of a beach front wedding. Now that snow has landed and we’re all safely snuggled by the fire let’s embrace the beautiful white wonderland and talk about the weddings that welcome the snowflakes and winter setting.
Snowy, winter weddings are great for incorporating natural elements because there are so many ways to include decor from good ol’ mother nature. Evergreen branches, rustic wood touches, and adorable pine cone bouquets create an enchanting atmosphere for guests while they sip hot cocoa and inhale the warming scents of winter.
These weddings are great for winter sport lovers or for those who simply appreciate the cozy feelings winter can bring. They can be created with elegance and sophistication or tailored to be quirky and fun. The decision is up to you!
